I have two grown children, and one incredibly delightful and mischievous two year old granddaughter.  Add to that a couple of ridiculously spoilt dogs, who think they are my children too (I may well be responsible for that misconception), and I am kept fully occupied.

AMAZING MATILDA: A Monarch’s Tale  is my latest children’s picture book. I wrote the story when I was teaching fourth and fifth grade students. I wanted to inspire my students and my grandchildren, who were young at the time, to meet their challenges with patience and persistence. MATILDA helped me do just that!

A Seuss Mishmash

The boy went outside after toast and grape jam,

that boy who refused to eat Green Eggs and Ham.

He saw little Bart Cubbins, the Grinch shooting skeet,

“And to think that I saw them on Mulberry Street,

he said to himself. “Oh my goodness, the Blue Fish                                  

and Red Fish jumped up with a swish.”

He wandered along until….BOOM, a strange fox
