We studied China a couple weeks ago and I included a tangram set as one of our Montessori trays. My 5-year old can’t get enough of them and has asked me not to change the tray for the last three weeks running even though we’ve moved on to the middle East now. I just know she’d love this book! Thanks so much for linking up at Booknificent Thursday this week on Mommynificent.com!

Hi, Tina. Thanks so much for stopping by to share your story. The book has a bit of history in it too and pages for kids to make their own tangrams and riddles too. The great thing I found when using THE TANGRAM ZOO as a teaching resource, was how kids loved learning about math (geometry/the relationship of area and perimeter), science(researching the animals they create) and writing riddles too. Have lots of fun with the kids and have a wonderful Easter. I love being part of your wonderful linkup and keep finding great resouces to share there. Blessings! ❤ 🙂

What age for this. I have a pretty smart 5 year old and an 8 year old. I’like to get them for Christmas. One is a great grandson and one a great nephew, both boys.
