“So much more than a contest

Lois W. Stern announces the opening of Tales2Inspire’s sixth yearwith a great little contest for those with an inspiring story to share. But it is so much more than a contest, as winning authors get tons of publicity to help them on their paths to discovery. Free to enter—NO FEES involved.

Stories must be true, with one or more relevant photos submitted to enhance the impact of the story. All details posted at: www.tales2inspire.com/contest, so please refer to this link before you begin.

  1. See, this is what happens when I get behind blogging–I miss something great. Fortunately for me, I have a couple stories I can submit (The Taste of Fear and A Worm Tale) and the deadline has been extended. I’ll be sharing this post as well.

Love your title – but let’s not use that for an inspiring story! (Only joking) Look forward to hearing from you and many more of Bette’s friends as new members of the Tales2Inspire family.

IF YOU HAD DIFFICULTY DOWNLOADING YOUR COPY OF THE TALES2INSPIRE SAMPLER, PLEASE GO TO http://www.tales2Inspire.com/gift TO TRY AGAIN, AS THE LINK IS NOW UPDATED. The timing was bad, (as Amazon had just moved the Tales2Inspire Sampler to a new spot), but the result was good (as it is now placed on the page with all the other Tales2Inspire books.) SO SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!

Bette, you are always a joy to work with and I thank you ever so much for taking the time to let your many followers know about Tales2Inspire. Some day I think we are destined to meet in person, but I find it interesting how people sometimes connect and know one another without ever having face to face contact. You are one of those people. Thank you for being my friend!

The thing is, Bette, we pretty much have the same philosophy – it’s all about “Authors Helping Authors”. Most often what goes around, comes around. As a child I was taught: “If I’m not for myself, who am I? If I’m only for myself, what am I? If not now, when?” I often think about that, and suspect you do too. Always a pleasure to work with you!

  16. I’m going to think about this. It’s hard for me to think of my stuff as inspirational, but apparently some people think some of it is … so maybe I’ll give it a whirl. If I can think of something appropriate.

      Hi Marilyn,
Maybe this will help you. The subtitles of the Tales2Inspire books I hope to supplement with a few new stories this year are:

      Beyond Coincidence
      Awakenings
      Echoes in the Mind
      Gifts of Compassion
Stories in Feathers and Fur (no more cat, dog or bird stories – looking for something a bit more unusual as a monkey, pig, etc.)

I’m even looking for one more story for my humor collection (the Crystal Collection) about dating, falling in love, etc. This one needs to be funny. (In its own way humor also inspires.)

      Hope this helps.
