I was never a big fan of Beatrix Potter until I saw the movie with Renee Zellweger. Somehow knowing the backstory brought her books to life for me for the first time! Thanks for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday at Mommynificent.com this week!

That movie with Renee Zellweger just came on the other day! She made a very good Beatrix Potter. I’ve always loved her work, and I have an old edition of Peter Rabbit in my bookcase. 🙂

I love her books and am going to see her house Hill Top in the Lake District later this summer. Thank you for this lovely share, Bette! She’s an inspiration to all writers. 😀❤ Ps. It’s interesting how she came to name many of her characters- from the local churchyard. That’s how I came across the name for my short story win.
