A writer inspired by nature and human nature

“Meeting the challenges of life at every stage of life is no easy task. Matilda and her friends encourage readers and listeners of all ages to meet those challenges with patience and persistence.

“Matilda’s story is my story. It’s you story too. It’s a story the kids will want to hear you read to them again and again.” (Bette A. Stevens)

“One concern parents have is how to inspire their children to meet challenges with patience and persistence. This is the plot of a [children’s] book, ‘Amazing Matilda’.” ~Paula Hrbecek Examiner.com

  1. My metaphorical hat is doffed. I wrote a children’s book 14 years ago after my first three months in the former Soviet Union. And still it sits. I know how to market to adults. It’s kids that boggle my mind. We should talk sometime before winter hits again.

    • Thank you for stopping by and for you lovely note, Janet. 🙂 Marketing skill is one of those crazy things that alludes this writer. I give a great deal of credit to my membership in #RaveReviewsBookClub for read/reviews by fellow authors and readers. Being a self-published author, the learning curve remains steep, so I’m always on the lookout for tips for those in the know… I published AMAZING MATILDA in 2012 and continue to follow her friends’ advice, “Keep trying…” So glad we’ve connected and look forward to ‘talking books” with you. 🙂 Have a great week! xo

  2. Sounds like a beautiful book
