The last cookie baked, the final gift wrapped.

Christmas Eve is upon usā€¦

It’s time to relax.

Christmas music is gently reminding us why

Lord Jesus, the Christ Childā€¦

Came down from on high.

He came as a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes.

Lived among us on earthā€¦

Godā€™s gifts to bestow.

Loving God, loving othersā€”Christ bought with his life

He epitomized loveā€¦

Not anger or strife.

Godā€™s loveā€”it’s a most precious gift we’re to share

With all those we knowā€¦

And with folks everywhere.
