Here it is January 24th, and I just saw a photo of my Grandma Babcock on my cousin Fred Hewitt’s Facebook Wall. It reminded me of how much I miss her and what a positive influence she was on all of our lives. Grandma’s Legacy is a poem that I wrote several years ago in honor of a truly great woman, Elizabeth A. Babcock, born January 1, 1898, died January 1, 1975. Grandma lives on in the hearts of memories of all whose lives she touched. The photo with my poem is one of me and Grandma circa 1952.
