I hope my granddaughter’s generation finds some dreams. They seem a sad lot, cynical and rather negative. We had much more fun.

Same here, Marilyn. We have 4 grandchildren and almost 2 great-grands… That’s why I loved teaching. It was a place where I could reach out to kids beyond my family. Now I try to do that through school visits and books. And, of course, I’m always ‘shouting out’ to our leaders via emails and phone calls. Top that off with lots of prayers and I’m sure we can reach them one by one.
