Here’s a Spring Haiku from me. Snow is still covering the ground here in Central Maine, but I’m looking forward to watching those new blooms appear. I’ll be listening for their song. ~ Bette A. Stevens
Thank you Bette — Here in Arkansas, I am watching the woods come back to life — incrementally. Every morning I see more green appear, as I gaze across the gulch. The steep slopes put my eyes at “tree-knee” level. Very soon the branch outside my kitchen window will unfurl it’s small green banners — Natures curtains. Meanwhile, I admire the daily addition of foliage, accented by deer and squirrels and colorful birds. (A preview of things to come in your backyard.) Easter Blessings, Alia
Such lovely poetic descriptors of spring, Alia! Can’t wait to wallow in the green. Thanks so much for stopping by for a chat. Happy Easter & Blessings to you and yours, my friend! ❤
Sure to be a while here, too. Slow now melt, so that is good for now. We’ll be singing and dancing non-stop when those little beauties pop! Thanks for stopping by, Barbara. Have a great weekend! ❤
Yesterday it was! Today, not so much. Thunderstorms are bringing tons of rain our way today and tomorrow. Nearly 3 inches. At least it’s not snow! Has your snow melted yet?
Happy Easter. Hugs.
Still about a foot out in the fields, but spots of ground are beginning to show. The slow melt is welcome (no flooding) and temps in 40s today with sun trying to peek through the clouds. It won’t be too terribly long before those magical bulbs start climbing up through the thaw. HAPPY EASTER to you and yours, too, Michelle! Hugs, Bette
