AMAZING MATILDA, A Monarch’s Tale by Bette A. Stevens
Why write a book about a Monarch butterfly?
“I wanted readers of all ages, not only to learn about nature, but to learn from nature. Readers and listeners will discover facts about Monarchs and their habitat, all while they enjoy a tale filled with excitement and adventure. That’s the wonder of creative writing. Matilda and her friends not only teach lessons about patience and persistence, they show children that they can reach for their dreams and make them come true.”

Hi, Mary. We don’t expect to see any monarchs arriving on their northern journey here in Central Maine before June or July. Then, we usually spot the fourth generation as they head to Mexico in August and September. They are amazing creatures. The eBook version of AMAZING MATILDA Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ will be on special for 99 CENTS http://bit.ly/19Qr3Y0 from April 20-16 to celebrate Earth Day! Do the monarchs visit your area? Wishing you an amazing day, my friend. 🙂

I hope the monarchs weren’t back with this snow coming. The poor birds had just begun building nests. Reading ‘Amazing Matilda’ shows children how the butterflies, cope as survive in the weather.

Glad I didn’t plant my seeds because it’s supposed to snow tonight. Isn’t that weird? It’s been so warm. Well, this has to be winter’s last blow. But I have seeds to plant … soon, I hope.

Songbirds and snowflakes greeted us this morning. We’ve got about 3 inches of winter’s white on the ground and snowflakes still flitting around. Glad it’s not a “Noreaster.” Hugs & love, 🙂
