I WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME
It is such a pleasure to introduce this “up and coming author,” Gracie Bradford, and her book about a child with brain cancer. The beagle, Lady Bird, takes on a leading role in this short story. Learn about the role of pet therapy in the healing process.
During her discovery journey and literary, educational adventure, Gracie relates that she stumbled upon software and websites that have proven to give a new meaning to work simplification. She used some of these in her business but discovered they could also be used with some of her writing projects. Most seasoned authors are already familiar with the apps and sites, but the “up and coming authors” may find some of these to be useful. She doesn’t use all, just those that she has the skill set to understand and can give a return on her investment. Although she confesses that she tends to gravitate towards the FREE stuff, she will invest in a few. It will be fun to hear about your favorite sites and apps. Leave your best in the COMMENT section.

Thank you, John. 🙂
Thanks, Gracie. I’m about to investigate a few of the links you were kind enough to share. Thanks for hosting Gracie today, Bette.❤️️
I’ve been wanting to ask, Soooz, how do you create the hearts and flowers? I can only make smiling faces. 😀
I have an Emoji Keyboard on my pull down menu. I then select the image I want to include and copy/paste it here. The smiling faces come from the same tool. If it’s not available on your menu, simply type Emoji Keyboard into Google and copy/paste it from there. (It took me months to figure that out, my friend.) I’m learning more every day, but retaining all that information is taxing my aging brain matter considerably. Sigh.❤️️🌹
Thank you so much, Soooz. I will experiment on this until I get it. 😀
Got it! 👍 🌹
🦋Always a pleasure to see you, Joy. Let me know how it goes, my friend.
Thank you, Sooz!
🦋My pleasure, Bette.
Great tip. Thanks for sharing how to make the keyboard work.
This was a great list and a few I’ve never seen. I will have to check them out, thanks! Enjoying your tour and learning more about you:)
Thanks so much, Denise! 🙂

Thanks for sharing the helpful links, Gracie. I’ve used Fiverr before to find illustrators, editors, and book cover and trailer designers. Bette, lovely blog, thanks for hosting.

Fiverr is a good resource.
Some very useful links here, Bette. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Robbie! 🙂
Bette, a lovely post and interesting to learn about Gracie Bradford and her Lady Bird series. I am keen to seek out, particularly free, apps that can be useful. One I have tried of those listed here is freelance.com. In my opinion I would not use this … it is confusing, pricing odd and it just felt wrong. Just my feeling though I’ve seen several reviews afterwards echoing this. Evernote is supposed to be fantastic and so useful carrying across all the devices. I would use that by have notes on my Apple products.
Wishing you a beautiful blessed weekend, Bette, hugs xxxxx
Thanks so much for adding to the conversation, Annika! ❤ Blessings and love… xo
