    I’m so glad you are getting great reviews on your haiku book. You so well deserve it. I’m glad we had the afternoon with you because we can’t do that drive anymore. Aside from the insane price of gasoline, there’s the insanity of long drives and that we seem to have somehow gotten so much OLDER. How did it happen? Weren’t we almost young a few years ago? Congratulations on your books and let’s hope the world isn’t going to be as awful as I fear. I keep hoping something good will come out of this mess, but it’s hard to hang on to optimism.

      Thanks so much for your lovely note, Marilyn. It was wonderful to get together with you and Garry on your last Maine trip. I still feel as though I’ve known you two for years. Year…oh, how they continue to fly by! Dan and I thought nothing of a 12-hour drive from Virginia to Maine twenty years ago. Now an hour’s drive for a medical appointment is exhausting. So grateful for all the years we were able to travel and the wonderful memories we’ve made along the way. Now, it’s time to turn the ‘traveling’ (literally and metaphorically) over to the younger generation. On a wing and a lot of prayers, may they do us all proud! ❤ Blessings and love to you and Garry. xoxo
