The manuscript for my debut novel (current Work-in-Progress title: DOG BONE SOUP, A Boomer’s Journey…) is almost ready to go to the pros (professional editors). I feel like I’m making progress. Wanted to share my latest cover design with you.

Hi. How exciting! Good luck with your debut novel. As to the cover. My thoughts: A bigger central picture would be fab, and maybe a lighter colour of red, so that the rocks in the background could be more visible? Just a thought, hope it helps. 🙂

Can you make your own photo a little bigger? It makes you look like your trying to distance yourself from the book. The photo itself is fine, show yourself to the world.

Thanks for your input, Laurie. I’ve used CreateSpace Cover Creator to design the cover and the sizes are restricted, but I’ll give it some thought and see if I can come up with an alternative. Appreciate your visit, read an comments! 🙂

It looks good, Bette. Yes to delete the ellipses and the blurb has Dogbone as one word but the title is two words. That’s all I got. I suck at covers, lol.

It looks great, just lose the ellipses after “A Boomer’s Journey.” You don’t need it and it takes up eye room 🙂
