One of those books on my “to be read” list. I keep intending to read it. Just haven’t gotten there yet.

Know what you mean about TBRs… So much to read, so little time! I really like this one and go back to it every now and then. Happy reading & writing! ❀

My favorite author !! Spotted him at a Red Sox game – reading a paperback between innings, he takes a book with him everywhere!

I read Stephen King’s “On Writing” as well. It was last year. I do not agree with him on all points, but they made me think. His quotes are brilliant and dead on! Thanks, Bette. I needed this!

I read Stephen King’s ‘On Writing’ years ago and it sits on my desk as one of the best books on writing that I’ve read. Great post, Bette and thanks for reminding us about this great author.

My copy is always handy and gets reread in snippets. I loved this infographic and so glad to hear that others are enjoying it too. Have a fantastic week, Micki! πŸ™‚

Brian Scott did a fantastic job on the design. ON WRITING is a book I enjoy rereading. Not only does King share writing tips via his own discoveries, he shares his own journey as well. Readers and writers are sure to enjoy it. πŸ™‚

I’m planning to give his book on writing to the members of my critique group for Christmas! It’s a winner.

Sounds like a plan, Noelle. I still like to reread snippets from my copy. ON WRITING is a winner, indeed! Hope you’re enjoying the season. We’ve had some glorious days up her in Central Maine and I hope I’ll be able to meet up with you in August. Have a fantastic week, my friend! πŸ™‚

Thank you Bette. I’m looking forward to my trip – we were going to drive up but decided to fly and rent a car. it’s a really long drive for a guy with a bad back. Lobster, here we come!

Sounds like you’re ready… and, oh the Lobtahs! I remember savoring the baked-stuffed at The Tugboat Inn in Boothbay nearly 25 years ago. πŸ™‚
