“So much more than a contest

Lois W. Stern announces the opening of Tales2Inspire’s sixth yearwith a great little contest for those with an inspiring story to share. But it is so much more than a contest, as winning authors get tons of publicity to help them on their paths to discovery. Free to enter—NO FEES involved.

Stories must be true, with one or more relevant photos submitted to enhance the impact of the story. All details posted at: www.tales2inspire.com/contest, so please refer to this link before you begin.

And since a picture is worth 10,000 words, while you’re there, grab a F*R*E*E e-book sampler of inspiring stories written by previous winners, and now published in one of the six Tales2Inspire® collections

  1. Sounds interesting, Bette. Are you going to submit?

  3. This is great. I have been walking through their website and have downloaded one of the free books they have on Kindle!

    • Thanks, Annette! Happy reading & writing too… 🙂 ❤

So glad you were able to download the Tales2Inspire sampler, Annette. Enjoy the stories and hope you have an inspiring story to enter into this contest/project. So keep “walking through the Tales2Inspire website” and enjoy your travels.

Great place to see your stories shine!

Thanks for helping to spread the word, Micki. You are a sweetheart!

    • Awesome, Micki! Ever thanks for sharing the love, dear friend. Your writing is fabulous and can’t wait to read another one from you. HUGS! 🙂 ❤

  5. Great news. I need to get my story/ stories ready! I am proud to have a half dozen winning short stories published in Lois Stern’s wonderful Tales2Inspire series.

    • tales2inspire said:

Super, Micki! I always look forward to reading your stories. Although the Whippoorwill’s Song will always be my favorite, I enjoy your slice of life stories as well. Keep shining, my friend.

  6. I’m going to think about this. It’s hard for me to think of my stuff as inspirational, but apparently some people think some of it is … so maybe I’ll give it a whirl. If I can think of something appropriate.

      Hi Marilyn,
Maybe this will help you. The subtitles of the Tales2Inspire books I hope to supplement with a few new stories this year are:

      Beyond Coincidence
      Awakenings
      Echoes in the Mind
      Gifts of Compassion
Stories in Feathers and Fur (no more cat, dog or bird stories – looking for something a bit more unusual as a monkey, pig, etc.)

I’m even looking for one more story for my humor collection (the Crystal Collection) about dating, falling in love, etc. This one needs to be funny. (In its own way humor also inspires.)

      Hope this helps.

    • Go girl! You’re an amazing writer, Marilyn and you’ve certainly got stories to tell and tell well. Looking forward to finding one of yours in Tales2Inspire. Hugs and love… 🙂 ❤

Bette, you are always a joy to work with and I thank you ever so much for taking the time to let your many followers know about Tales2Inspire. Some day I think we are destined to meet in person, but I find it interesting how people sometimes connect and know one another without ever having face to face contact. You are one of those people. Thank you for being my friend!

    • Thank you, Lois. It’s always a pleasure to have the opportunity to feature your posts on my blog. The promotional opportunities and sage marketing advice you offer writers is fantastic. I’ve had the opportunity to connect with several writers, enjoy some outstanding stories and make new friends through Tales2Inspire. Thanks again, dear friend! 🙂 ❤

The thing is, Bette, we pretty much have the same philosophy – it’s all about “Authors Helping Authors”. Most often what goes around, comes around. As a child I was taught: “If I’m not for myself, who am I? If I’m only for myself, what am I? If not now, when?” I often think about that, and suspect you do too. Always a pleasure to work with you!

  8. Bette, this sounds very interesting and I will definitely consider submitting! Thank you so much for sharing. ♥️

Keep those cogs spinning, KentuckyGal. Can’t wait to see what you come up with! So glad you were able to download the Kindle sampler without a hitch as I always worry that the form might not work as it should.
      Cheers,

IF YOU HAD DIFFICULTY DOWNLOADING YOUR COPY OF THE TALES2INSPIRE SAMPLER, PLEASE GO TO http://www.tales2Inspire.com/gift TO TRY AGAIN, AS THE LINK IS NOW UPDATED. The timing was bad, (as Amazon had just moved the Tales2Inspire Sampler to a new spot), but the result was good (as it is now placed on the page with all the other Tales2Inspire books.) SO SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!

  18. Thanks for sharing, Bette. Hope your new year is off to a good start.

  19. Haven’t read the contest rules yet. Must do that now. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

    • tales2inspire said:

Love your title – but let’s not use that for an inspiring story! (Only joking) Look forward to hearing from you and many more of Bette’s friends as new members of the Tales2Inspire family.
