If asked, I would say
‘Yes’ of course Easter
Is a Holy Day
Remember God’s love
For children’s sweet play?
I’m sure He’d approve
Of this children’s day
While grown-ups may rush
To explain it away
The children will say
“Remember the day
When our Jesus arose
From that cold, dark grave?
He lives now forever
Hallowing the day.
