    What a beautiful haiku and photo, Bette! The winter sky is so lovely against a blanket of snow. We’ve gotten more snow here in SW Ohio than we’ve had in years and I am enjoying every moment. It’s been bitter cold, but the gorgeous blanket of snow makes up for the cold temps. Love and hugs, dear friend. 💕🤗💕

    Bette, I’ve been struggling to find a word to describe the blue of the winter sky, then see you name the perfect colour in this lovely wintry haiku. Periwinkle! Exactly!
